Network Travel is raising the bar in professional travel services and we are looking for the best of the best to join our team. 

Our Group and Incentive specialists apply a broad depth of knowledge to make the travel experience for groups (large and small) exciting, cost-effective and worry-free. This unique department serves the needs of all types of groups from destination wedding groups, corporate incentive trips, conferences, school groups, sport groups, religious tours and much more. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Maintain a professional, positive, cheerful approach with all customers both internal and external 

· Establish clients' needs on first contact, qualify by leading client conversations with questions and treat each inquiry with patience and focus 

· Prepare and present a professional proposal for customer consideration  

· Ensure that all group reservations are processed in accordance with established customer policies 

· Process client requests for domestic and international reservations 

· Maintain current knowledge of promotions and specials and proactively advise clients of savings opportunities 

· Attend applicable familiarization (FAM) presentations and trips

· Consistently maintain personal sales and revenue targets as established on an individual basis 

· Communicate and establish a strong relationship with preferred suppliers 

· Select and research strategic/long term group travel products to incorporate in our marketing activities 

· Engage on an ongoing basis to further enhance our web marketing activities 

· Provide valued input with the preparation of the annual marketing plan and budget 

· Assist with marketing/promotional activities as required 

· Assist with the coordination and attendance of wedding trade shows 

· Work proactively with the marketing team for the continued growth of the marketing database 

· Seek out and discover niche market opportunities to enhance our group business

· Participate on various boards to represent Network Travel

· Other duties as required. 

Qualifications: 

· Travel College Diploma or similar

· Minimum ten (10) years Group Consultant Experience, including international booking and consultation 

· Strong presentation skills

· Proficient in CRS - Sabre preferred 

· Proficiency with Clientbase

· Proficient in current Microsoft Suite of products 

· Well travelled with group escort experience

· High level attention to detail with extensive customer concern resolution required

· Proven customer service skills and abilities 

· Able to work under pressure of deadlines and industry changes
