We are local here in Alberta and able to meet you in person for a private consultation.  Weddings are planned months in advance and we think it's very important to meet in person so you feel comfortable knowing who you will be working with. 

Finding an excellent Destination Wedding Specialist can be as important as finding an excellent doctor, lawyer, dentist, accountant, car mechanic or insurance agent. A professional has your best interests in mind and based on experience they can save you time, money and possibly your life.

Our Destination Wedding Specialists are some of the most experienced in the industry. During your consultation she will provide options based on your preferences to include the best possible pricing for your budget, ensuring you and your guests receive excellent value with a fantastic experience.

When managing your wedding our specialists are committed to your entire group for the duration, leading up to your departure and during your stay. If something should happen that prevents you from departing on time (such as a snowstorm) your wedding specialist is there to assist: to re-protect you and your guests on a new flight, contact the hotel or resort to possibly reschedule your wedding ceremony and manage the various details. 

Your dedicated specialist will also contact you and your guest’s insurance to start a claim if purchased with Network Travel. 

When travelling, should you or a guest experience an emergency at home your wedding specialist will manage the necessary details and return you home as quickly as possible.

Absolutely, our award winning Destination Wedding Specialists have over 20 years experience. We manage wedding groups to any destination with guests arriving from any gateway city in the world.  

Covid is certainly a concern.
Destination weddings are typically planned several months in advance allowing invited guests time to plan etc. As the vaccine reaches the masses we expect travel will safely re-open by the end of 2021.
We deal with resorts and charter companies that provide full refunds for cancellations due to Covid.

• Your dedicated wedding specialist will set up a professional consultation meeting to discuss your plans and your wish list.
• Your specialist will then do the research and create a professional proposal for your consideration.
• When you make your final decision and choose your resort / hotel your specialist will contact the property to confirm your wedding date.
• After choosing your complimentary invitations and dinner menus, your specialist will have our marketing department create a draft for your approval. When approved they will be professionally printed and couriered to your home address. This should take about 7 business days.
• Our marketing department will also customize a digital booking form that can be sent by email to all invited guests. This digital form will include your wedding details and collect the required information for all invited guests to register. The digital form is unique to your wedding and all information is encrypted and protected as per the Privacy Act.
• Your wedding specialist will collect deposits and book each guest as they register. She will also communicate on a regular basis regarding the number of registered guests and the updated details.
• Your wedding specialist will contact and remind all guests prior to final payment requirements. She will process final payments and provide documents as soon as they become available. Typically, within 2 or 3 weeks prior to departure.
• Your specialist will contact you during the first 2 days of your stay in destination to ensure everything is going according to your plans. Should there be any issues she will immediately contact the resort for resolution.

We would love to provide a professional quote and proposal for your wedding group. You and your dedicated wedding specialist will be working closely together for several months and it's equally important to find someone you feel comfortable with. 

Weather and other unforeseen circumstances can cause challenges with your wedding plans. Should this occur, your dedicated wedding specialist will immediately contact you and re-protect you and your guests on the next available flight. Your wedding specialist will then inform your hotel or resort, and if necessary reschedule your wedding, ensuring your plans are protected. Your specialist will also notify the insurance company for guests who have purchased insurance protection with Network Travel. 

Yes, your invitations, detailed wedding inserts and matching dinner menus are complimentary.
We have a graphic designer on our team and she customizes your invitation package. After you give your final approval they are sent to a professional printer and delivered to your home. This service is complimentary when you book your wedding group of 30 or more guests.

We do our very best to ensure every detail is taken care of before your departure, but sometimes things happen beyond our control.
When you trust us with your wedding plans we are here to assist 7 days a week. Should you experience any issues during your trip we ask that you please contact us as soon as possible so we immediately take action. We don't want you or your guests spending valuable time trying to resolve any issues.

The cost of a destination wedding can vary depending on the resort, destination and the number of invited guests.
Non-All-Inclusive 

Resorts / Hotel Resort properties that don’t offer an all-inclusive program are typically more expensive. You need to consider room block contracts that include food & beverage minimum spend agreements. In many cases a minimum spend is required to avoid a penalty. These hotels / resorts usually have a fee for all or most services. This can be the best choice if you are seeking a more customized experience such as a Disney wedding.
All Inclusive Resorts
There is a greater selection of all-inclusive resorts throughout Mexico and the Caribbean. Some of the luxury resorts offer incredible services with a la carte dinning and inclusions such as tennis and golf. Although these are all-inclusive resorts, they do charge for additional services such as wedding ceremonies, special group set ups such as wedding dinners etc.

A local wedding can range in cost from $10,000 and up depending on the number of invited guests, the wedding ceremony, the celebration venue and the food and beverage choices.  

The cost of a Destination Wedding is typically less expensive because your invited guests are paying their own expenses. All Inclusive weddings tend to be more popular because everything is included.  Because of the savings, many wedding couples plan something  special for their guests such as a private pool party or an excursion such as a sunset cruise. 

The price of an all inclusive wedding depends on your choice of season, resort, room category and destination. All inclusive resorts typically range from a 3 to a 5 star rating. For a destination wedding we strongly suggest a resort with a 4 or 5 Star rating. Lower quality resorts are less expensive but tend to have less amenities, poor service and a small selection of food and beverage choices. The average cost of an all inclusive wedding is $1900 per person including taxes.  

TIP: 

Plan in advance for the best price and a departure during  the shoulder season such as November or early in January. 

Do we pay for our guests to attend our destination wedding? 

The quick answer is No! Guests are invited to attend at their own expense. 

The wedding couple typically pays for their invited guests to attend the wedding ceremony and the gala dinner celebration.  

Every wedding couple is different and in some cases the wedding couple will pay for some guests to attend. Because a destination wedding is less expensive in comparison to a local wedding the wedding couple will provide something special for their invited guests. This is where we get creative and assist with unique ideas. Sometimes a resort spa day, a round of golf, a catamaran excursion, a private beach party or maybe something special in each room. Really, the sky is the limit!
